Who owns whom?
I was reminded tonight by one of my online students that I introduce myself as being owned by 8 cats. Oh--I never told you how many I have. . . Well, now you know.
Here's an example of how they own me: I came home tonight, very late (6:36 p.m.) and needed to leave immediately for another outing. The cats were ready to eat (having not eaten since 7:30 that morning) and several of them "batted" at me as I walked through the kitchen. There's always dry food for them, and they are NOT starving, but I think they thought it was feeding time since I was home.
Of course they didn't get fed until I came home 2 hours later.
That's the catty news of the day. Not very exciting, but. . .

It may not be exciting, but it is SO true and such a nice picture of being owned by cats.
The name of your blog really stands out from the class list. Somehow I couldn't but help clicking on it. And the pictures you choose really emphasize your posting and attract the eye of the reader. Good job.
I can relate-I have three cats(not nearly as many as you), but they have personality and sometimes their needy. I love them though.
We have two cats at my house (well, my parents' house) and they really think they are the ones that own the place...the "princesses"
My cat liked to eat my fish when i wasn't home and she was hungary. I think I've fixed that problem...now she just likes to trip me when I come in the door. You gotta love them no matter what they do though
I love animals, especially dogs, but there's something special about cats too... they have what I call "Cattitude" it's unique to every one of them, just like people - but universally it tends to be sassy and fun. They have such personality and you know they own you, not the other way around.
